The Unpredictable Weather

     About a week ago, I was elated when there was sunshine thinking it's the beginning of sunny days to come. Unfortunately, that was it! After that it has been intermittently drizzling and raining rendering us a weather so unpredictable.

Cloudy skies hover us 

    We are unable to dry our laundry, the path leading to our farm cottage is muddy and puddles of water are everywhere. It's a gloomy sight. I'm not sure when will the sunlight for good will come. It's a great weather to stay in bed and sleep. The breeze coming through the windows and door is cold. Technically it's not that low in reading but it penetrates through your bones. I think the high humidity makes the breeze damn freezing.

    We love this kind of weather but not everyday. We also need the sunlight to come out to remove the gloom in the air.

It's Chilly

     After a hot and humid start first half of the year 2024, it's beginning to be cold especially early in the morning. I checked the temperature and it's relatively down, although not the lowest I've recorded here. I got as low as 19°C in previous years.

     I'm glad to find this app that measures not only the temperature but also other key information such as humidity. It is very high in here which makes it feel so hot when there is sunlight. Information about air quality is also useful.

Brrr! It's Cold Again

     I didn't walk today as it is too cold. This is not the coldest temperature I recorded here, but it feels like one. For a week it has been like that.

     It has been raining intermittently, there has been no regular sunlight. It's a gloomy day.

     

Damn Cold Again

    Brrr! It's cold , the breeze is like ice. It is also raining, it's damp everywhere and the sun is nowhere to be seen. My extremities are cold. I don't use the fan. Good weather to sleep but it cannot be like this for a long time. It has been this kind of weather since Christmas last year.

Goodbye Rain

     The sun is finally out. It has been raining due to low pressure phenomenon and it has been relatively cold since Christmas.

It's as low as 18°C in one of the days

     The cold front of December made the temperature low then heavy raining for almost a week caused flooding in many areas. Thanks God today it seems the sun is back. The sunlight dries the moist stuff in the house and the wet clothes we kept hanging in the barn. Hope this sun is here to stay for us to dry our clothes.

Rural Life

     Yesterday when I woke up early morning, I measured the temperature and found out to be the lowest I have experienced since being here in November 2019.

     It was actually very nice and I can switch off the fan. The worst comes at noontime when it becomes very hot with high humidity. It is uncomfortable when the sun is out. When it's cloudy, it is actually nice.
